Over 4 years ago, there was a sad time in American history in which we cannot forget what happened. On a normal Wednesday afternoon, 700 young elementary students entered Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. Everything seemed like a normal day in the small town. At about 9:30 in the morning, Adam Lanza, a local of Newtown, killed his mother Nancy before proceeding to the elementary school not far from where he lived. He fired 154 bullets in the school, and in the end 20 students between the ages of 6 and 7 died, along with 6 teachers who were defending their students. In the end, the gunman killed himself before being taken into custody. After the shooting, President Obama gave a speech on what had happened and what needed to be done to prevent this from happening again. But it would not end there.
